Editorial policy
Open Wellness Guide aims to publish clear, considerate writing about everyday wellbeing. We take care with claims, make our editorial choices independently and correct errors openly.
Accuracy and care
We check factual claims against appropriate sources before publication and write within the limits of what can responsibly be said. Where evidence or interpretation is uncertain, we say so rather than turn uncertainty into certainty. Our general-interest articles are not a substitute for individual professional advice, and we avoid presenting personal preference as a universal rule.
Independence
Editorial decisions, including what to cover and how to describe it, remain separate from commercial arrangements. A partner does not receive the right to set our conclusions or guarantee coverage. We do not invent testing, research, expertise or personal experience.
Corrections
If you believe something published is inaccurate or unclear, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, update the relevant wording so readers can understand what changed.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid, gifted or otherwise commercially connected material is identified clearly where it appears. Any partner placement is kept distinct from independent editorial writing. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where relevant, they are identified as illustrative and are not presented as documentary photographs.
Wellbeing is a lived experience, not a checklist
We pay attention to the details of ordinary life and make space for different preferences, circumstances and ways of feeling well.
